Gizzard stones
Anyone ever keep the gizzard stones out of their birds?
Lol I seen a post on Instagram of a guy showing all the different stones birds have from different areas. Keeps them in little pill bottles. Said he seen guys find chunks of gold or even diamonds (makes sense turkeys peck anything shiny)
Be a cool little trophy. I might start doing it.

I have never even thought of that but now that you posted, I am going to start looking for them

LOL I keep the gizzard and toss the stones. Guess I'm more hungry than sentimental.

I always keep the gizzards to eat but can't say I've found anything interesting when cleaning them up.

lol, I thought my wife was nuts collecting beach sand from everywhere.
I collect enough junk now without collecting gizzard stones. haha
Never found gold in gizzards yet....
