There is a difference between traveler's and residents insurance I'm sure. Sounds like the hospital probably thought they were going to milk the insurance company with all the testing.

What's your point......if she had a pre-existing medical condition then she should not of been travelling. Then again, leave it to the Liberals to always avoid the fine print.

Exactly and being insurance they look for way's to disqualify you.
Another friend had to fly her mother back from Jamaica last weekend, they sent her there to get her away from Brampton and any Covid problems. She is 82 years old, took ill down there and the Doctors would not let her leave as she was unstable.
After running up big bill's and a lot of unnecessary tests they managed to get her on a private jet with a nurse direct from Jamaica to Toronto bill for the trip $26,000.00. She is now in palliative care and will probably not make it past this week.

What does the Liberals have to do with the fine print on an insurance contract? A pre existing condition can mean almost anything to an insurance company and an illness you have on file might be completely unrelated to what you come down with and you will still get denied.

Again I don't understand your point? Did she not buy insurance before she left for Jamaica? Have you ever inquired what our hospitals charge any travellers to Canada that don't have insurance.......it would make the $26,000.00 look like chump change.

Traveling abroad when told to stay home, how stupid.
If Trudeaus hadn't been such a failure dealing with covid she wouldn't have a need to leave.

Do you have proof he pays more than me? Next.
Conservatives get on their soap boxes every election and tell us they want to avoid imposing taxes, but then expecting us to believe that our social security net will not get cut's some where, a fool's game for fool's to believe.
