Default Suggestion for folding "Backpacker" gun.

    Hey all
Wondering what you would reccommend for a decent folding break open action shotgun/22 combo? Makes/Models approximate price and where can it be found?
I recently saw a great review on the Chiappa 20guage/22 and it looked great. Any ideas?

If you are looking for used, I recommend look into into the CGN websites Equipment Exchange forum. There can be deals.

A buddy got the double badger 22/410 with the fibre optic ghost ring sights for Christmas from his wife and he really likes it. We were shooting it a few weeks ago, even ran some slugs through it for fun. It will be going with us in the fall if we head north for a bird hunt again. Not sure where he got it from.

Was thinking about that double badger. Looks like a good gun. Thanks for the tips.

I am pretty sure there is a Chiapa double badger in 22/410 and a savage take down in same combo at Barrie south Canadian tire, and they go for around $699-$750. Prices are before this lock down. Dont know whats the price now.

I have a Rossi 22lr \ 410 interchangeable barrels. Has a little carry bag. Great gun. Won it at a Ducks Unlimited Dinner. My go to partridge gun. Unfortunately I lost the 22 barrel in the bush up North.

Ha ha! Yes indeed - I want it for hunting birds off the ATV and my mountain bike and for taking along on Crown Land adventures for plinking and peace of mind. Something light, foldable and fits in a pack.

I got a universal gun bearer from Kifaru recently.
Kinda pricey (about $100 cad with all shipping and stuff), but love the thing

Might be a potential solution for your hiking needs as well, as it fits too any backpack with webbing strip on top of shoulder strap.
