different question.
What “might” (stress that word) things be like if Ford were actually in charge?
And or, if he wasn’t thinking about an election and being afraid to annoy
Unions/health officials, healthcare
The GTA and red Toronto.
The well off
?
Shame there’s no way to know.

The other reality is, I'm sure glad I'm not the one making the decisions, but whatever you do 50% of the people will disagree with it.
In Canada every mainstream political party that is governing has locked us down. Liberal, NDP, PC, UCP, SP, PQ et al have pretty much followed the same line of thinking in their respective provinces.
Anyone angry at Ford is living under a pretty serious delusion if they think we'd be better off with Horwath or Del Duca at the helm.

ya I agree it could- would be worse. Just don’t conveniently ignore the fact that the lockdown in Ontario is entirely on the provincial Conservatives. Put the blame where it belongs when you complain.

So you will agree then that many screwups come from the guy at the very top Trudeau.

Federally yes. When you complain about lockdowns and restrictions and what we are doing in Ontario , that is all on Ford.

More leftist bs lies.
Ontario and the rest of Canada wouldn't be in lockdown if the idiot Trudeau didn't have five thousand plus international travelers coming in and out of Pearson every single day. Total failure of the federal government.
By all means stay home and wear your mask, if you don't you are the problem.

Take a look at Australia if anyone wants a look at what our return to fall and winter will look like.

It is on Ford only because he had the misfortune to be in government when this happened. No matter what he did or is doing there is an array of critics ready to pounce. The ink is barely dry on his reopening plan and mayors are complaining about splash pads, parents want schools reopened while teachers are threatening injunctions unless teachers are fully vaccinated.
No government at any level is escaping criticism that is both fair and otherwise. No government would regardless who was in change.
