Unless you spend a lot (>$1.5K) most glass comes from China or the Philippines and some mid range stuff from Japan no matter who owns the company. At least some of the money stays in Canada and employs Canadians if you buy from a Canadian company.

Although it may be a Canadian company, their products are made in China. I have no issues with quality coming from China whatsoever. Some Bushnell products come from China, some do not.
There are other countries that manufacture optics like Japan South Korea, USA and others. Personally if given the choice I would rather support a manufacturer from almost anywhere besides communist China is all.
