Pandemic is Over
Nice to see the people no longer living in fear here in Ottawa.
Common sense has prevailed and MSM can continue to spew all the covid lies they want but WE know better.

"A sweltering Sunday had some city councillors calling for emergency cooling centres to be opened quickly while large crowds jammed Mooney’s Bay seeking a dip and shade during what’s expected to be a days-long heat wave amid a pandemic."
"Councillors Shawn Menard and Riley Brockington asked for the centres to open their doors as soon as possible, with the City of Ottawa announcing Sunday afternoon that four would open Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m."

Amen to both posts. I could go for one of those steaks for breakfast right now!

Why? I'm sure there would be more fish, birds , turtles ect in the water than people and they all "P" in the water as well. Don't sweat the small stuff might better go enjoy yourself as we are all along time dead. Cheers.

Last numbers I saw in Leeds Lanark and Grenville was 5 cases in a population of 173,000. If you do the math the number turns out to be 2.8901734104624e-5. I'm a bit rusty on minus exponents but yea, there is no pandemic. Oh wait, there's talk of a new delta variant so that will give them more excuses to limit out freedoms. What BS.

I only swim where it's my friends and me and usually in a river. I don't like large crowds standing near me in the same water. You won't catch me at the water park Calypso.

I'm with ya. We picked up a 12 x 22 pool it holds almost 7100 gallons it says no diving but it's deep enough to dive lol. Anything over 3 or 3.5ft is ok with a shallow water dive and being 22 ft long it's good.
The pool is 51 inches deep.
Best investment of the season [emoji1787].

It's not just the P, it's everything else that comes out or off a body!
I'm with GW, no thanks. But hey if you want to swallow and bask in the other stuff, by all means, have at it!

One of the best accessories I ever had for the boat was a "hang on" boarding ladder and a scuba flag. We've had more fun than a barrel of monkeys anchoring off shore from a beach with snorkel gear and a metal detector. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff we've found. I don't do public beaches in crowds, either. You haven't lived until a great big turd floats by or you step in on one because someone has dug
a shallow hole, squatted in the sand, dropped a 10" coiler and walked away. I guess that's how things are done in some parts of the world.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....
