Actually I don't like pools, just nice clean water preferably rivers, streams usually the pool below a small waterfall, like when I go swimming up North. Don't care much for lakes either as they have blood suckers. I also use to like going to the ocean beach in NB and I knew some nice hidden beaches.

Since we bought our house a fair number of years back, it had and in ground pool so open water swimming on a crowded beach has pretty much lost all it’s appeal for me. We cottage, on a small lake, I usually take a swimsuit then, as it comes in handed because my dog is like to drown me, when he shakes, after returning with his retrieval dumb for me to toss. The last time recall being in the water there, came as a result of attempting to get into a kayak off the dock and it rolled. It prove to be a novel way to come with a sunfish which I found when I pulled the kayak up on the dock to empty it. Since then I’ve stuck to water craft with a broader beams..
