Me and the Mrs. are scheduled for our second shot this Tuesday AM. After that, the fearmongers can ram- jam it sideways. My first shot was AZ. This one will be Moderna. Sux that I won't be allowed into the Bruce Springsteen concert in NYC. That'll sure cause a few sleepless nights.

If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

We were originally scheduled end of Aug. Then Aug 9th.

My fiancé’s father late 70s and has MS just got his second last week or week before. The MS is so bad now, he was also admitted to hospital last week. He may not get out. No one is sure if they will be able to see him again, and haven’t since last spring.

My fiancé started calling around, going on the Ontario website. Trying to get her second ASAP. The earliest she could get, was 90 min away in Barrie, July 22nd.
She just found a place for July 8th.

Yet her niece, her husband. Her 42 year sister/husband. And many of our friends in their 40s. All have their second.

Which age groups are mostly likely to get really sick? Break hospitals?

When someone gets their shots depends on whether they live in an area with high caseloads and how long they will stand in line or how far they are willing to drive. Some people frantically scour vaccination websites, wait hours in line and/or drive hundreds of kilometers to get a vaccine as soon as possible.

From the start I have successfully protected myself from the virus by following the public health protocols and being selective about who I spent time with. The additional protection offered by the vaccine will be appreciated but in the shot term nothing else in my life will materially change because of the shot as the government restrictions remain in place. There should be no mad scramble to be vaccinated for most of us.

I have an appt for Pfizer this Saturday, my first was AZ back in late April. I’m considering cancelling it and waiting for another AZ but not sure. I am not in a panic for the second dose and don’t like the idea of mixing - and I struggle to believe what we are being told about having Pfizer or Moderns as your second being the great idea. If there were boatloads of AZ sitting around they’d be telling us that it was best NOT to mix.

    That’s true Badenoch.
But it still raises the obvious question/problem.

    “Flatten the curve”
So many seem to have lost sight of that. It’s never been about defeating, or eliminating Covid etc.

It’s all been about not breaking healthcare capacity. Slow the spread. So that Drs “don’t have to decide, why a 40 year old gets live, and a 50 year has to die”…..

We know now, that people under 60 are low risk. People under 45 extremely low risk.

    So hot spots or not….
The priority has been, was always, and should still be.

Instead, people that are extremely low risk of ending up in hospitals, or worse ICUs….are taking precious supply. When the cold hard truth is.

They don’t need it, nor should be.

and to put that in context. If today, 65% has one shot, 10% two. We could and should have 40% fully vaccinated. Those who might break the system.

Nobody in their 40s should have a second shots before the elderly at all. If we are trying to save lives then the elderly must go first. If we are just playing games then give it to anyone before the elderly .

    Ps j Ben

We have known for a long time since last year who was at risk and whoo was dying.

It's posted on the government's website's . But in the media eyes it hits everyone everyone is dying lol.

So far the regular flu killed more people Younger than 19 every season in a few months than covid in 2 years almost .

From July to September 2020 1700 hundred overdose deaths the majority male between the age of 20 to 49.

Initially the vaccination program was targeted at older age groups but politics and pressure from educators and the medical community got in the way. I'd much rather have 40% fully vaccinated than the current split as I'd be among that 40%.

Why are politics and educators getting in the way ? This isn't there line of work or expertise are we not supposed to be following the science and evidence? Something they say but do not follow.

That's the plan; No rush as there is no real need for the 2nd shot as we have reached Herd Immunity. After the 1st shot your chances of getting 'stink' sick was eliminated. Chances of getting the 'cold' now are minimal as we're still wearing masks etc.

AND as in most normal years, 60-70% will get the 3rd Covid shot in the fall so Herd Immunity will carry us thru the winter.

The plandemic rush is to trade a jab for liberty and freedom of movement. Protection from a non existent threat for 99.5% of the population.
Ask yourself. Why is the government so insistent that you get a jab this time of year?
