Has too much time on their hands
Bill Blair spinning sh** again... after first 30 seconds he just spews sh** and note July 7th new regs in place "to improve safety" and the new "records keeping" (registry) of NON restricted firearms. More coming before this fall (election issue?) and more safety and firearms legislation.
Tracey Wilson shared a link.
Bill Blair press conference: regulations to implement some measures within C-71 (2019). Lifetime background checks and discretionary ATT's to take full effect on July 7.
PS to hold public consultations for other measures. Nothing on combatting actual crime ...

Obtaining a reference number is a mandatory requisite to transfer a non-restricted firearm. Failure to observe these provisions may result in criminal prosecution and/or revocation of a licence. Further to the transfer, the Registrar must be notified that the transfer has been completed. The Registrar is directed to keep records of all transfers of non-restricted firearms.
Seriously

I will bet 95% (minimum) of gun owners do not know this. In fact I will go say 98 and include cops that own personal firearms%
