Solar Panels
For those looking to add some solar capacity to their camps they are on sale starting tomorrow at CT. 100W panel with stand and controller for $199.99 regular $549.99.
I never buy them regular price but every once in a while CT has a sale like this. My panels are pushing 15 years and though they still work figure it's probably a good idea to have few new ones ready. Plan on picking up 2. That will be a complete replacement for the panels currently installed at my camp. We also have a 400W windmill at 40 feet in the air and combined with 200 amp-hour of quality deep cycle we have not had to use a generator in 15 years.
The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

Even on sale I've found better deals elsewhere to those. They work fine, but are still overpriced in my opinion. Still $2/watt.
I've had good luck with panels from here. https://www.solarshoppingmall.com/12...anel_c_24.html
I have no affiliation, but have dealt with them a number of times and always got good product for a competitive price.

Their prices are good but add in shipping and a charge controller and it actually comes out to about the same as the CT price. Thanks for the link though as i don't need the charge controller and their 170W panel at $200 looks good.

Ive two of them on my camper van and they have been great for the last 3 years anyway. Bought a 12v fridge and a few of the 320w 24v panels for my cottage last summer.
I hate generators so have been running solar for years
