Cases mean nothing...even cases of the Delta strain are only mild colds in 99% of the people.
The only numbers, like always, are the Hospitalization, specifically ICU, and Deaths...Don't know where you're getting your numbers from but the Public Health Database says there are, as of the 4th July, only 158 people in the hospital and 9 Deaths related to Covid in Ont with a population of about 17 million.
Those are insignificant numbers in relation to population and no different than we see during a normal cold and flu season.

Wonder how many of the new deaths are from vaccinated people.
A study from the UK Says the elderly are still vulnerable even after the vaccines.

It is kinda funny that people will take the shingle vaccine that is only 50% effective and was only tested for 2 years but not the Covid vaccine.
Also all the vaccines you took as a child which are mandatory.

Your facts are a little off GW but I know what you getting at.
I hate being sick so I do a lot to prevent laying in bed begging for someone to kill me.
So I get vaccines that will help prevent that. I also work a lot with elderly people so I want to mitigate the possibility of becoming a carry and spreading it to people who are more vulnerable.
Study participants were followed for at least 30 months after the second dose through monthly contacts and yearly clinic visits. The primary objective was to evaluate the efficacy of Shingrix compared with placebo in reducing the risk of shingles in adults 70 years and older. The average age of the study participants was 75.6 years. The average follow-up time was 3.7 years, and herpes zoster occurred in 23 patients who were administered Shingrix and 223 in the placebo group.
Overall vaccine efficacy against herpes zoster was 89.8% (P<.001) and for PHN was 88.8%.5

1 in 3 people will get Shingles and I know quite a few who it flared up on it has nothing to do with how healthy you think you are.. Technically you already have it the question is will it flair up. My Dad got it and suffered damage to the nerves in his hands for a life.

What we need is a vaccine that will stop all the fear being spread about another seasonal flu..

No.
Doctors orders, stay up north, drink a 24 a day and be happy.
