    Default Really Missed Fishing

I usually travel to Ontario 5 or 6 times each year to go fishing but this year because of the closed border I didn't get up there - really missed the trips up there - was watching a fishing show on you tube and it really made me realize how much fishing means to me - nothing like being on a quiet lake tossing lures in the water along the shore line covered with lily pads and reeds - sure hope things settle out so I can head up there next year - my boat, camper and all the equipment is just waiting to head north again -

JP if you do come up this year on a weekend, let me know I would love the opportunity to go fishing with you. I only got to meet you once about 8 + years ago.

Ya I remember that - if I remember right you and fishing companion won the tournament with the best walleyes - I remember Frenchie being there also and I think a guy called can't catch a cold (?) - or something like that - nice hearing from you - wish the best for you - Joe

Sounds like the border will be opening shortly to non-essential travel from the States to Canada but that just might change given the number of Covid cases in the states is on the rise again. At the very least you'd need proof of vaccinations and recent testing results.

Perch is delicious especially in a roll with mayo. I grew up eating Lancaster perch out of the St-Lawrence just east of Cornwall.
