For over a year now I have been advocating that people make an informed decision.
Yet, some still say that they will trust a talking head medical MSM person on a science board who has never treated a single covid patient over the advice of thousands of other practicing physicians.

Can't save them all I guess.

"As immunity builds in the population, the risk of infection to all – including the vulnerable – falls. We know that all populations will eventually reach herd immunity – i.e. the point at which the rate of new infections is stable – and that this can be assisted by (but is not dependent upon) a vaccine. Our goal should therefore be to minimize mortality and social harm until we reach herd immunity.

The most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity, is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk. We call this Focused Protection."

Years ago the MNR hired a Regional Director for the Northeast Region from South Africa. Even though he was the spokesperson and responsible for all programs for an area from Thunder Bay to North Bay its safe to say he knew next to nothing about Ontario or its resources. This is standard practice in most governments and private industry. Same goes for the spokespersons in the medical field. They're managers, clueless to the actual situation, nothing else. I don't listen to them for advice or information but I do consider seriously the comments mady by ER doctors and practicing doctors that do get interviewed live on various news channels. Well, maybe not so much when it comes to CBC.

Just when you thought the circus couldn't get any more outrageous, Quebec is now offering a 3rd dose (2nd mRNA) for those who need to meet travel requirements.

... and here I was all this time thinking that vaccines were supposed to be about health. Silly me.

Breakfast Television Toronto: Quebec offering third doses to travellers not based in evidence: expert.

It's pretty obvious all they want is to have everyone, 100% of Canadians, with the mRNA swimming in their veins.

We just had x5 million doses delivered and only 12 people at the vaccination center. Going to be a hard slog to get to 85% double tapped.

Just in time for Pfizer to developed an upgraded 'Delta' vaccine, then we can go stand in line again.

It's a pretty common problem that upper management isn't connected to the real issues on the ground. It's actually the very reason why, while I am a director of two departments at our work, I choose to also be involved in projects about 60% to 70% of my time, so I have my hands DEEP into it and see first hand what the challenges are, so I can more easily understand and resolve at the directorship level.

However, I'm not sure if you are inferring just because the doctor came from South Africa, he knows nothing about Ontario. I lived in South Africa for a while, and I think it is safe to say, doctors there see in one single weekend more trauma than what a doctor sees here in half a year. Their private care system makes our OHIP look like a dogs breakfast ... yet, their public care system makes our OHIP look like club med ... and they have to participate in both (donating time to both public and private) ... so they have a MUCH better perspective on how to run things than any Canadian doctor will ever get to appreciate. I'd hands down choose a South African doctor over a Canadian born and raised doctor ... not even worth a thought.

I think you mis-read what I was saying. The guy from South Africa was hired for MNR as a Regional Director, not a doctor of medicine. My point was hoping some of the guys on here would get the connection between a guy/gal hired as an administrative spokesperson for an organization, be it government or the private sector, and the difference between them and an actual 'field' or 'hands on' person who was directly involved with an issue.
If a doctor from South Africa or Tazmania was hired to represent the medical association here in Canada, different story.

Places that needs proof of vaccination or negative test.

They said just a few months ago they would not make them mandatory . Some places I see they don't want the vaxxed in not this article .
