Although it's almost a sure thing in my WMU, I still like the anticipation of the antlerless result.
I find myself getting very motivated to shoot more, scout more, and becoming more excited for Fall.

Successful 2nd time round but 2nd choice. An archery cow tag not too far from home. Not an overly useful tag for bow hunting but gives us a reason to go without using any points. Back in next year for that bull tag…..

I'm entering my 5th fall season as a hunter, and just found out this morning that I have now gone 0 for 5 in the antlerless tag draw. Every year, the WMUs that I apply for have 40-70% published odds from the previous season. Anyone else riding a cold streak? Is there anything else going on here than pure bad luck?

I was up until 5 minutes ago, I had been seven years w/o for a antlerless tag in WMU 60, just checked both me and my son got one each.
Nothing for Moose for both same area.

Was successful for a doe tag for unit 10 and a calf tag for unit 15B. I probably won’t be claiming the calf tag.
