I've been at sporting events where some guy did something special - something that stays in the back of your mind - when I was in the Army and stationed at Fort Totten N.Y. service men were allowed into Yankee Stadium for nothing - so I would often go there to watch the Yankees play - the one night Mickey Mantle hit a home run where the ball hit the top of the roof way out beyond right field - they projected the flight of the ball the next day in the paper showing where it would have ended up out in the parking lot if it didn't hit the roof - he was one of the greats -
