Great little gun shop
Hello all, just wanted to share with you guys a little gun shop i visted today in Markham "g4c sports gun store canada". they just got a new show room so alot of their stuff is still in the back, but the gentleman i dealt with was great(believe his name is andy). i didnt have to ask to many questions as i already knew what i was going in for via their website but some great prices and beautiful surplus rifles they had there as well. from their reviews i seen online they have a great and fast shipping service as well. was able to pick up 250 shells of federal rifled slugs for 365 bucks after tax. comes out to just under a buck 50 a shell . on the plus side i dont need to worry about deer season in a long time haha. im sick of supporting the big names (cabelas basspro) their service sucks. they also ship all over Canada I believe!

[COLOR=#202124]in no way do i know these guys, it was my first time going in today actually. have been looking for bulk prices for a while and these guys actually have some ammo in stock. they may or may not have sabots. you would have to check yourself.

Picked up a few beauties from them, great prices! And the other nice thing is it wasn't busy so lots of space to browse and chat with owners.
Cheers

Their milsurp gun prices are ridiculous! $500 plus taxes for a simple Mosin m91! Run of the mill sks for $500 -800! Only a sucker would pay these prices. Better to stick with GunNutz, or even Crappy Tire.

Believe it or not that's the going rate since the OIC in May. If you can find an SKS for sub 400$ snap it up quick. I paid 350$ for a Mosin last winter when all the store started putting them up for 400$.

Wow Bowjob you're right! It's been a couple years since I checked the gun prices at Tradex, PS, etc. Looks like the supply has dried up and prices are way up! I guess it boils down to supply vs demand. Some are down right ridiculous eg. full wood Enfields, Finn Mosin 39s, garands, even Swede mausers. I think I paid $169 for my Mosins at Tradex. Mint Swedes were $399 and same with my K31s. SKS were $199 -300 tops!. I couldn't bring myself to pay 500-800 for an sks. By far the worst piece of crap milsurp I've ever owned, even if you argue that it's "cheap" to shoot. I think I kept mine for maybe two weeks. I wish now I had bought some milsurp crates from Tradex when the prices were cheap. Glad I bought the Swedes and K31s that I did. Should be a good return in 5 tp 10 years. I'm old enough to remember the glory days - SIR full wood Enfields for $35, Barrels of Enfields and K98s at Heros for $10 - 25 each. Garands for 400 at LeBarons and the one that really hurts - when I was a 16 year old kid, I remember seeing literally stacks of mint #4 Enfield snipers , in the wooden transit cases, with leather cased all original scopes with all numbers matching (even the scope and wooden case) for $200 each. This makes me want to throw up sometimes when I think about it! Some fetch 8-10K now..... Anyone getting in to it now, I'd advise them to pick up a Swede and K31 now, before the prices climb even higher.

Welcome to Covid.....
Not only are the prices ridiculous for pretty much everything but delivery sucks big time. Not to highjack the thread, but we ordered a new enclosed snowmobile trailer back in January and it is not being built until September....
Sorry, carry on with the original thread just had to get this off of my chest!!

I hear you. I ordered an atv 12 weeks ago. It was finally built on Monday but it's at least a few weeks before it arrives in Canada and is ready for pickup. Funny thing though, I custom ordered an enclosed trailer early June and was told I'd have it in winter without any guarantees. It showed up 3 weeks later! I'm not complaining though!

Yep, remember when 303 Brit Remington 180gr was under $20 a box, now it is over $40.
