    Default Oops!

Walked into one of my bear baits and walked up on momma and 3 cubs. Middle of the day. Had a 90 lb feed bag on my shoulders so no pic taken! They didn't see me so I beat a hasty retreat (as hasty as possible with the 90 lbs on my shoulders) Might move my tree stand though as one of the little buggers was lounging in it.

I bet that got your heart thumping, glad it worked out. Unfortunately that bait site might be shot now with them taking over the bait, it happened to me in the past. In hindsight I should have stopped baiting it for a while to try and get them to leave as the bait site was basically ruined for other bears as they didn't want to deal with a mad mamma.

Thanks. Just waited an hour and and went back in stealth mode. Right now there is a 250ish boar on the bait. Retreat and wait another hour.
