Well in the case of the LIbErals their policies mean sh**, looking at the last election they had outrageous lies about firearms the ATT etc. and they were going to spend so much fighting gangs... as they point out on Gundebate.ca they spent about 1/4 what they promised on anti-gangs and will now spent over 3X the anti-gang promise to seize firearms from those obeying the law, etc. I mean I was kind of shocked to see even CBC talk about how on COVID the Libs would make an announcement in the morning, CBC would cover it and quietly in the evening "some nameless bureaucrat would roll it back" but CBC would ignore it. Of course with $100M/month it only came up once on CBC. The first page of the NOT Vote for the LIbs thread has tons more reasons to not vote for them including their plan to NOT balance the budget until 2070.
Justlied went to the hair dresser, got facials etc. to look good for the voters and that is as far as many idiots will look, a rather disgusting display of how lies and superficial appearance mean more to people than facts. Years ago I would read a Sci-fi book where the voters had to serve in the military or pass a test or course to vote and I thought that was ridiculous... looking at it now it is looking more appealing, the hard part would be what material or requirements to vote... party membership like in Communist countries? Maybe not the best idea after all but responsibility and thinking seem to be in severe decline!
Now as for the Conservatives their scrapping of many of the Lib sh** and their plan to put integrity back into the government plan are excellent reasons to vote for them, with the huge hurdle of debt the Libs created I can hear the gravy train and greedy crying and sobbing already just at the mention of being responsible sadly.

Ah yes, how I have missed the witless banter of some of you. (That’s sarcasm in case you’re not sure). Keep trying though. I do enjoy what fools you make of yourselves when you try.

Now Trudeau wants to scrap targets & reignite 12% inflation like his dad.

What's the big fuss about these remarks? It's quite obvious to anyone paying attention that Trudeau doesn't think about monetary policy. The comment might be one of the few true things he says during the campaign.

Hence with the comment that Trudeau made anyone that votes for him is in the same class of mental incompetence as he demonstrates to the world.

Why he should be thinking about the Monetary fund....
Monetary policy involves setting inflation targets. Higher inflation lowers families’ purchasing power. Lower purchasing power means less money for groceries, rent, mortgages, gas, clothes and everything else families need. Inflation hit 3.7 per cent in July, one of its highest readings in 20 years; this is also the fourth straight month the rate exceeded the Bank’s 1 per cent to 3 per cent mandate. That mandate is set by the federal government, and is up for renewal later this year.
In other words, thinking about monetary policy is thinking about families, and the prime minister is in a position to do something about it. If he understands how it works, that is.
Cue the outrage by the Conservatives, who were already on the anti-inflation train. “The simple fact is that Justin Trudeau has made life less affordable for Canadians,” Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole said in a statement. “Regular Canadians are struggling to make ends meet.” The Tories also released an online ad headlined “It’s the Prime Minister’s job to think about monetary policy — Monetary policy has a direct impact on the cost of living.”
