The hard-core 'right' doesn't like the way the party is moving to the left hoping to find a broader base of voters. In this case, if the PPC weakens the PC, they'll lose seats to the NDP.

The old 'cut off 's nose to spite one's face' type mentality.

Yep, if the right is united then the conservatives have a higher percentage in the polls than the Liberals, think about that. Pissing and moaning is very close to giving JT a majority.

I think Max has some sensibility and wish he hadn’t left, sadly a divided right can’t win. And a right party with the kind of sensibility that I’m looking for can’t win in the GTA.

I’m on vacation this week and positive that my prankster neighbours are stuffing my lawn with red and orange signs.

Deals and mergers are made between political parties all the time.
Look how the Libs have imposed draconian measures with the support of the NDP.

It is not a far stretch of the imagination to say that the bad blood between the Cons and PPC will be diluted and support formed if PPC gets seats in the house of commons. Think about it. It is all optics. Your vote is not wasted in any shape or form if the candidate in your riding is elected.

PPC is for the people not the elites.
They would be a great Party to run this country.

But it never will. It only serves to splinter the conservative voter pool and help the liberals/NDP succeed.

I doubt that the PPC with its hard-right views would be welcomed by the Conservatives - unless they need the seats to form a majority.
Otherwise, no. Association with the PPC will cost the Conservatives the middle, which they cannot afford to lose.

They will not win any seats though, they will just hand seats to the left because they are stealing votes away from the Conservative party.

Well that is your opinion are your totally entitled to it. Others would agree both federal Liberals and our provincial government are doing an excellent job destroying our country...

When is enough, enough of lockdowns, masks, restrictions on public, travel and business, mandating experimental drugs, fear propaganda, carbon tax, cost of living, housing, spending of tax dollars?

PPC wouldn't cause half as much destruction to Canada as our present Government IMO.
