Simply knowing the difference between a traditional viral vector vaccine and an mRNA vaccine will go a long way to helping you understand the why the traditional vaccines work and are better than the mRNA technology. Case in point...viral vector and natural immunity are still greater that 85% efficacy after 6 months (proven in Isreal) were as the efficacy mRNA vaccines have dropped below 35% efficacy after 6 months and now require a booster shot.
The drug Ivermetin (the prescription version) has been used in patients in many parts of the world for many years. They have also proven it is effective to counter the effects of the virus in those same regions that do not have Covid vaccines yet. While yes in North America, it's primarily an "animal heart worm drug" it is also a drug that saves human lives elsewhere.
See folks, Milk responded without hurling insults and derogatory comments. It can be done. Your point is taken Mike. And the long this plays out the more science will have going forward. Having travel both west and east since my second shot, the process hadn’t been arduous and I haven’t had a positive test. Seems almost like life is getting back to something resembling normal.

Maybe i am missing something.
Going back an forth with publicly announced decision is not the best thing. IMHO.
Playing both sides of the spectrum leads nowhere, but to the hope of being re elected.
The political term for what Ford is doing is sucking and blowing at the same time. He wanted to pander to anti-vaxxers including apparently some of his own immediate family but was finally put on the right track by widespread demand for proof of immunization credentials from the medical and business community.

The better way would have been to call referendum on it and the public decide whether they want to give up their rights to their bodies.
It truly show how many people actually support the move. I pretty sure Ontario government in for a surprise.
Much smoother political approach instead of alienating huge part of critically thinking voters that MSM calls anti-vaxers forcing them to do something.

Has too much time on their hands
I think vaccine passports are about as useless as masks, the vaccines themselves, hand sanitizer and PCR tests when it comes to controlling the spread of a new cold virus.
Like masks, they're for the space between the ears of the vaccinated.
Stupidity followed by more stupidity in the appearance of "doing something".

The government /MSM sure did a fine job of scaring the bejesus out of the vast majority of the population. And just as relief was in sight with a vaccine, they invented a boogman variant to get them all would up again. Now it's the 4th wave Tsunami.
They've got folks so brainwashed with all the fear mongering, even after being double jabbed they are afraid to go out in public.
So now they invent this magic 'QR code card' that will protect them from the great unwashed so they can go back out into society to start to stimulate the economy again. Never mind that the vaccine is wearing off and they are just as likely to be infected by going to the movies with each other as they are going to get groceries with the have-nots . HaHa..
I would be comical if it was so troubling.

I have to disagree about the hand sanitizer, I loaded some cedar logs the other day and got resin all over my hands and arms, the hand sanitizer cleaned it right up. As for the passport it doesn't really affect me, I only like a few people anyway 80% of them are unvaxxed and the other 20% aren't vaxholes but I do strongly believe that it is wrong and this whole covid thing is about politics not health.

Haha Willie you're right on that! Hand sanitizer isn't completely useless, just useless in controlling airborne viruses.

Yesterday's proof of immunization announcement seems to be having the desired effect.

Ontario’s vaccine appointments double after passport announcement

PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 2, 2021
Ontario’s health minister says COVID-19 vaccine bookings through the province’s portal more than doubled on the day the government announced its vaccine certificate system.
Christine Elliott did not provide the exact number of new bookings, and her spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Elliott says on Twitter that nearly half of the people getting vaccinated today are receiving their first dose.
Her statement comes a day after the province announced that Ontarians will have to show proof of inoculation to access some non-essential services, such as theatres, gyms and restaurant dining rooms.
The province’s vaccine certificate program, which comes into effect on Sept. 22, offers an exemption for Ontarians who cannot receive the shot for medical reasons.
The CEO of Ontario’s medical regulator is urging doctors in the province to be judicious about handing out those exemptions.
