Weatherby
Does anyone use a Weatherby cartridge and if so what cartridge/ammo combo?
I had a Weatherby Vanguard in .257 mag and although the ammo was very expensive that thing was a screamer and dirt napped whitetail big time using Weatherby Nosler Partition 120 grainers.
Wish I would have kept it

I've had 3 Weatherby's over the years. A 257, 300 and 340. All performed as expected and were exceptionally accurate with a variety of ammo. If i could have made use of their long range potential i would still own them. I decided that here in Ontario, a 25-06, 300WM and 35 Whelen would do anything the Weatherby's would, at a considerably lower ammo cost, so i made the switch. On the prairies or western province's i would probably rethink my decision.

I also have a 25-06 and 300 Win Mag. Both are excellent calibers no question
