Is....is this real? Please tell me this is real. Also I clearly need to start stocking up on apples during the year.

Although bears love apples, seeing so many together might mean a natural food shortage.

Last year, near our deer camp, a farmer planted about 100 acres of corn. It was the only corn for many miles. The bears found it and hit it hard, to the point that the farmer had to shoot them. They got 13 over a couple of days and there were more that escaped.

Some parts of Southern Ontario were hit hard with Gypsy Moth this year. I’ve seen miles in the forest in July as transparent as it would in November. That means, I think, a big shortage of acorns and other nuts and berries. All wildlife will suffer, I think, from woodduck to bears and deers.
But still, this is an enormous number of bears on the spot… Why don't they fight each other?
