Your spidey sense is going haywire...follow it, listen to it, desconstruct the pre-made rounds. Start from zero again. Like others have said, buy a box of factory to compare.

I would be very surprised if the bolt face caused your problem. I suspect that it’s related to either the casings (primer pocket or flash hole) or primer/powder issue. Hopefully you don’t have to wait very long to get your rifle back.

So i think its the primer as someone mentioned earlier when i get the toy back we will be using factory ammo to start and switching primerd

As noted above CCI primers are not as hot as Winchester. I have had similar problems and have always found changing to a hotter primer like a Winchester etc. has solved the issue. The 300 Win Mag is a big case and you need to get that powder burning to maintain the proper pressure spike. Good luck.

Well alittle update the bolt is pooched verfied by 2 independent smith's so off it went should get it back after they ibstall and reheadspace .Anyway contacted vitroiu and they said max load is what is published on there site fair enough they make the powder, contacted Hordany and asked wtf that load is published in a older manual .The tech proceeds to tell me they drop n560 it does not appear in there latest book ,reason was never really give so moral of story always verfy your older pet loads reason manufacturers are twicking them all the time .So back to bench and range moose is 4 weeks away
