I would say that the informed officer is standing her ground knowing full well that the law is on her side.
Looks like a day in court will clear the matter. Trespassing in a public facility? Really?...lol
More like a case of discrimination. The courts are about to be flooded with them.

When the stunned twit came back on the property after being told to leave she qualified for a trespassing charge. Not complying when informed of her arrest and instead kicking a door and calling people Nazis qualifies for a resisting charge.

Yes…. Trespassing into a public facility ! I have seen individuals trespassed from court buildings ….a public building ceases to be public where an individual is concerned, when a person in authority tells you to leave. If you don’t, it’s trespassing. If you re-enter, it’s trespassing….

They won’t likely lose their jobs, but depending on the incident involved, they could be subject to PSA charges and/or informal discipline.

So, theoretically, the same will hold true in her case.
Be interested to follow thru to see what the results are.

If we ever see the results?
For the record, as I said in my orginal post, I'm sitting on the fence regarding the passport issue. Just not sure of my feelings either way, my bad!
I am however disappointed that a police officer chose to go this route. It's a sad time in our world that it has come to this.

I can't imagine how someone like a Cop with two young kids is handling their sanity over the past two years. The fact she snapped is not unreasonable or unexpected, especially over a mandated policy that has nothing to do about safety and is preventing her from watching her kid play hockey.

For those of you that are in favor of vaccine passports have a look at this video.
Does it make any sense that you can go to Costco but not a recreational facility?
Give your head a shake!
