    Default Shell rationing?

SAIL has put a limit on shotgun shell purchases. I went to the Cambridge outlet last week in preparation for a pheasant hunt later this month and was told I could only buy two boxes of shells and if I wanted two more boxes I'd have to come back the next day. There was also a limit of one flat on target loads. Any other places putting limits on shell purchases?

Never heard of such a thing. I was at Hummisons last week and picked up 4 flats and the guy did not even flinch.

The counter person at Sail in Ottawa explained to me that due to availability from manufacturers they wanted to ensure that each and every customer has at least 2 boxes and not some guy walking in to hoard a bunch of it. The inconvenient work around is to go through checkout a few times. They turn a blind eye to that.

Neighbor came back from Sail Oshawa at lunchtime today really PO'd when they said the same thing. Their suppliers must be running out of stock.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

CT sporting goods manager in the Soo said basically the same thing, when I went there earlier this week. Everything back ordered and the shelves there look pretty grim.

I bet it won’t be long before household supplies follow suit.

I find it interesting, every time someone pops up with a "what caliber should I buy" thread everyone starts singing the same old tune about popular chamberings. "You can always find them" hah! Not so true anymore.

Now my obscure collection can be fed easily as it's all the stores can get and get this, I get boxes of ammo on sale!

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?
