Looking good. I missed the morning hunt due to work but made it out in the afternoon.

Yesterday morning around 8am I had 6 does slowly walk right by my stand in the hardwoods, about 80 yards out. Thought they’d turn in to the mineral site within bow range but kept going down the ridge into a sunny field. No turkeys seen or heard.
Went to the field edge for evening hunt and there were 2 large does on the other end of the field.
They didn’t make me so at least that’s something

I watched a doe and her two yearlings eating beans for a half hour within 25 yards of my stand. A mature doe with no yearling showed up but with that many noses downwind I knew I was in trouble. Finally decided to attempt the mature doe but she was on high alert and wouldn't settle down. A slow move of the bow sent her from 25 yards to 50 yards where she proceeded to swear at me in deer language LOL. Nice to see deer though on a first sit.
