Your source of information is MSM. Me? On site.
My neighbour is an orthopedic surgeon. Elective surgeries were postponed but back to normal with a backlog.
You are simply fear mongering.
Dude, wtf??? Can you chill ... I am presenting information I read and hear, and see (family, neighbours HAVE HAD SURGERIES DELAYED)!!
Fear mongering ???? Who the hell do you think you're talking too ... you guys are going nuts by dividing people ... what an absolute insult!

Man you really do have a comprehension problem; ...I didn't zero in on anything...I said "like Cancer" means just that, people who smoke, can get cancer. The point is they 'voluntarily' smoke', like the covid patient who voluntarily refused the vaccine.
Why do you keeping saying it isn't fair that one is in the ICU taking a bed from another..they both put themselves in the hospital.
Somewhere along the line the Dr.s will have to 'triage' them..and the deciding criteria for that bed will NOT be their life choices, but rather who has the best chance of survival....that will be Fair !!

Dividing society??? LOL ... reality check ... I've always advocated for both sides ... I said, I understand why people are reluctant to get the vaccine due to likely insufficient testing, while I also see the argument of filling up our ICU's with unvaccinated COVID patients (so the data I'm looking at says).
Mike, if anything, I am one of few that sees both sides, and understands ... and here you call me a divider ...
Honestly, this is very disappointing responses from a few of you guys ...

Not dividing, informing.

Why did you exclusively bring up cancer patients who smoke ... I agree, that is the same thing. But I am more referring to a case where people who fall ill not by their own fault ... and ICU beds are occupied, like in Alberta ... then what?
Anyhow, I think the points been belabored ... I don't have anything new to add.

Mike, please copy here, where in the world did I make that statement ... go back and look at all my messages ... and stop putting words in my mouth and twisting crap up.
You brought it up, so let's stop this nonsense.

Much of this thread is like listening to nervous fliers who freak out when an airliner crashes anywhere in the world but ignore the millions of people who arrive safely at their destination.
There have been 3,182 serious adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine recorded in Canada out of over 55 million doses administered or 0.008%. Deaths possibly associated with the vaccine are 195 or 0.0003%

Happy landings.

Yeah what's new? We all know that, it's OLD news.
But I still maintain, you are a divider, when you say a person like me is "fear-mongering" ... it's complete BS ... you have no idea who you are talking to,
and instantly put me in a bucket, because I challenge both sides thoughts. You seem to be a guy that only wants to hear what you are thinking, otherwise
the other person is wrong, an idiot, a conspirer ... etc, etc.
Not cool at all. Here I am just trying to have an educated and informed discussion, presenting some scenarios ... and I get call a fear mongerer ... it's basically such a childish tactic to shut down a conversation you don't want to be in.
