    My thoughts are that the appraisal ($800) is a bit low. There is a similar one on CGN for $1500 - mind you it hasn't sold yet, and it comes with 3 spare mags.
    I'd guess that this appraisal doesn't take into account that it is a 338, not a more common caliber.

    "A 1971 manufactured pre Mk1 Grade 2 engraved Browning Bar in scarce 338 WM. Gun is is awesome condition, near new, just a few small marks on the buttstock. One very light scratch on the left frame. Wood has very nice finish and grain, better than others I have seen. A beautiful rifle engraved with a bear and Ram. And, it will come with 3 additional hard to find mags! Cannot have seen much use! $1500. Can take more pics if required. Can only attach 7 here."
