As ppl are saying on in this thread. I would of been doing a ton of research and looking at the reviews.
Getting a kill in on guided trip is never a guarantee. As for a terrible experience that is another thing.

I feel the need to update this thread. My trip finally happened, but was bumped a year due to covid.

I do feel for the OP, however my experience wasn't negative at all. I was able to harvest a newfoundland giant on the first night, and my buddy got a cow (by choice) on the 3rd day. My buddies father isn't a mobile hunter so I signed on to his tag for the last 2 days to try and help him out. He was only able to hunt from the road so that made things a bit tough, however laws there permit shooting from the road and we almost got a cow for him but a logging truck buggered that up. Was just bad luck.

There were 4 hunters in camp and 3 tagged out. My buddy also shot a bear on the Thursday afternoon. I am sure my buddies dad could have been successful if he were more mobile. All of the guides I was with were fantastic and knowledgeable. Amy, the cook cooked everything from scratch and was absolutely amazing. Even though I averaged about 8 km a day of bog hopping my fat didn't lose any weight haha.

Great animal, glad it worked out well for all of you.... Too bad about the one hunter not filling his tag, hopefully he enjoyed the adventure despite not pulling the trigger.
