Enhanced Management Area
what is Enhanced Management Area ? I see on crown land atlas that hunting is allowed, but whats the difference between these and regular general use crown ?

The Ontario government has different Crown land classifications that dictate how much protection the land receives and what activities are permitted to occur. The classifications include parks, conservation reserves, forest reserves, provincial wildlife areas, enhanced management areas, and general use areas. An enhanced management area has specific land use direction that more detailed land use direction in areas of special features or value, for example wildlife management… activities are planned and carried out to benefit wildlife.

If you go to the CLUPA Website you can get information about what is allowed in that area. Look for the policy statement.
