E. Ont deer sudden deaths

Heard a rumour of over a dozen deer found dead about 2 weeks ago, then nothing else. Now hearing the number might be in triple digits. Both reports from completely different sources, 1 a non-hunter.
Anyone else with input, do not want to give a specific location at this time but am hearing it from another area about 20 kilometers away from the first site.

EHD? This a serious disease in many locations in the US. Kills more deer than CWD.

I reached out to a friend. He had heard of some death in 2 locations.

Bingo...saw this on FB this aft..

Bloodlines lost forever. Years of ethical harvesting down the drain. Such a waste of life. Breaks my heart. EHD has reached us here for the first time and its hitting them hard. The Gananoque Lake area and Wolfe Island are the only 2 I’ve heard of with this problem so far.
Pray for cold weather folks.
