Under health and safety regulations,employers can enact any health and safety rules they deem necessary to ensure a safe work environment. If that includes vaccinations for employees,oh,well. No one is holding anyone down and stickin' them. The choice is always up to the employee. If they don't want to comply,they'll need to find employment elsewhere.

But it's not about a safe work environment...they have worked through the worst of a pandemic for the most part of two years safely. And now, with 80% vaccinated, the greatest threat to their safety doesn't exist anymore.

The PPE they wear as part of their job and have worn from the beginning still protects them from patients who are admitted with the virus as it always has. Forcing 100% to be vaccinated is redundant as the majority of their co-workers are vaccinated and are not a threat to each other (herd immunity). A fully vaccinated person shouldn't get or spread the virus so an unvaccinated person is no threat to them or to themselves.

This isn't about safety ...it's about social engineering compliance through coercion, threats to peoples lively hood and ostracization of people who choose, as is their right, not to comply.

I find it amazing how a sanctimonious mob is willing to fire a co-worker because they have chosen not to get the vaccination,yet cherish the fact that we live in a Free society. Smacks of hypocrisy don't it.

Why didn’t they all get covid before the vaccine came out. I guess they are all going to get it if the last 15% don’t get the vaccine.

It's not that they disagree so much as it is they have been scared witless and coerced into believing they have to. The fact that so many health care workers disagree with being forced says all you need to know, except for the sheep like you that gladly give up their guaranteed freedoms and rights to bow down to corrupt and power mad bureaucrats.
