I run two different heaters depending on hold cold it is. The larger one run on a 5lb tank and the smaller one runs on 1lb cylinders. I purchased a adapter from Mr heater $18 at the time to fill 1lb tanks from a 20 lb tank. The adapter has paid for itself hundreds of times over. At $20 for 3 1lb cylinders vs $15 to fill a 20 lb tank it doesn't take long to add up.
