I think the message has been be little'd a bit,
I also recall seeing moose and deer strapped to trailers, hoods etc,
But those were the days when it was socially accepted to call your neighbor stupid. Now if I say someone is stupid my university kids think Im ignorant, how we were lived and were raised is totally different today.
Did it need to be blooded, NO, we clean all our game prior to transport. Did he need to post a sign, absolutely NOT..this alone tells me his character. why draw attention to your self, people are going to complain and in the near future, maybe not in my t ime, it will be an offence to have a harvested animal visible to the general publics eye...
    Its all about perception..
Last year we got a nice buc, there just wasn't enough room in the back of the truck bed for the 3 deer and all equipment, we put in trailer and left atv in bush while transporting to butcher. while at Tim's someone was offended by it being visible and they were anti hunters and we got the normal tongue lashing, I who would normally be very quick to rebut and lash out but instead simply said " maam your entitled to your opinion, but we saved this deer from coyotes and we are now talking to butchers and then donating the meat to the food bank so the deer doesnt go to waste...all of a sudden we were heros...PERCEPTION....

Good Luck this week and be safe

Putting a carcass in a truck bed is one thing. Posting a profane sign to insult anyone who disagrees is the behavior of an imbecile and a slob hunter.

The sanctimonious snowflakes are rampant. No wonder our country has gone down the toilet.

    I would also add immature.

Hunters shouldn’t feel ashamed to hunt or for legally killing an animal for food. Unfortunately the sign reflects poorly on all hunters.

It’s sad that when we do need to transport a harvested animal that we have to act like a poacher

But look at the way groups protest hogs or cattle chickens to turkeys going to processing in plants

We usually grab mc Donald's on the way back from the hunt. Usually stop in bradford or something. Have the atv in the back and the 2 deers sticking out. Going through the drive thru. No signs tho LOL.

Just shows the low IQ of those transporting that harvested animal. There's more of them than meets the average eye.

many many years ago my dad and I drove back from the north with a deer or 2 tied to the trunk of the car, but we had no where else to put them. today I will go out of my way to avoid showing the deer as it is in a trailer. it it is to big for the trailer then it shows, but intentionally doing what this guy did was just asking for trouble. we all know that the anti's get their way so why give them to fuel. I personally don't like photos posted of the guts or to much blood. I will try and take a picture with as little blood as possible to post. will i stand up for my rights as a hunter yes, if someone starts to yell at me for doing what I'm doing I will not stand for it. times have changed and not for the better. I put a shed in a cement block in my truck years ago so it was visible, had all kinds of people stop and have a look at my monster deer. All laughed when they saw it was just a shed, I wouldn't do that today.
