Well we aren't allowed to shoot until 730. The deer feed in the mornings. By the time we are allowed to shoot theyre done feeding and back in the bush long gone.

Now that the time hasn't changed we are allowed to be out until 640ish. My thinking is that because theyre out feeding later in the morning they will be coming out or roaming the bush earlier during the day.

The little bit of snow fall we have here forecasted should spice things up as well

Huh???? You can shoot one half hour before sunrise until one half hour after sunset…. What difference does the time in your watch make ??? Just means you have to get up earlier to be in your stand.
If legal light is 0730, after the time change, it’s 0630…..the deer won’t know the difference..

If your alarm clock goes off at the wrong time, then it could make a difference 🤪.

I had an appt this AM,so,I couldn't be out before first light. Went into my watch at noon and stayed until almost dark. There was giant doe and two fawns standing by the trail edge on the way out to the truck. I didn't see the buck, but,I heard him scoot leaving Momma and fawns. I'm going back before first light and park my butt right there and watch to see if he shows up. Damn,I love this time of year.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Got my first doe today. Had a yearling with it but it looked old enough to go on its own. After I shot it and was standing on the blood trail waiting for my dad to come with the atv another doe popped out on the other side as well. Took a while to gut it and drag out of the bush.

Never saw a deer yesterday. Could be because I was busy flinging lead at a couple of coyotes. Lots of shooting around me. Even a couple shots from eager guy 20 minutes early in the distance. Crappy weather this morning, snow and rain but I did see 2 does and 2 bucks.
