The guy just doesn’t have a good gauge of society. His actions, while I’m sure was meant to be provocative, will eventually lead to it being an offence. He’s doing us all a disservice. Nothing wrong with being proud, but there’s no point in purposely angering people. The sign is too much.

Those snowflakes from the GTA make many of the rules today, so don't piss them off intentionally................. Out of sight, out of mind, easy peasy.

Remember driving to the butchers many times with 5-12 deer in the box of the trck, stiff legs sticking up over the box in every direction, get the odd sour look when they go past but mostly thumbs up.

Having a sign under it telling people to F off is a douche move.

It had a bloody severed moose head deliberately mounted to the back of the cab with a sign that said: "if you don't like it f**k off". The rest of the moose was uncovered in the truck bed, in various pieces.

My daughter hunts. She was traveling to join me for the deer hunt.

I hope these kinds of a**holes aren't on this forum, but if by chance they are, I have this to say: You are a bunch of ignorant morons. We all suffer for your inconsideration. Little kids traveling don't need to see that. People who don't hunt have a right not to have to see that.

I'm so disgusted, but not at all surprised these days.
Let alone that it is disrespectful to the animal. There's just simply no dignity in that.
It's as if they advocate for destruction and murder.

It was law in NB to have your deer in sight when I was growing up

I think the guy used poor judgement to put the sign on his truck. But …… it is legal to hunt and legal to transport your game to wherever you process it. Since so many Ontario people are offended maybe we need to do like the gay pride has done and have a hunter pride parade to convince people that it’s totally acceptable to be a hunter.

As has been said, transporting fully legal, but displaying a provocative sign that’s intended to instigate crosses the line.

Regardless of what WE think, the fact remains that the people who govern this country and those who elect them are mostly urbanites. They don’t care about our culture, heritage or history (except the parts they are trying to re-write) . We should be proud of ourselves, firm in our beliefs, and stick together to defend our rights but smart about not shoving stuff in others faces. We won’t win any public relations contests these days.
