Has anyone used them? We are planning a trip to Nipissing the end of Jan 2022 and are looking at renting huts with them. Can folks share good or bad that have used them.

They have been under new ownership since 2020 and with COVID not too many reviews to go on. Try posting on the Nipissing section of Lake Simcoe outdoors forum. Might get more relevant/recent info.

We are booked for Jan 27th to Jan 30th with Chilly Whilly. Any helpful hints on what lures to use for walleye would be much appreciated

I'd flash around a pimple with a minnow.

This works well. Jigging just off bottom. My favorite and one that always seems to work is a 1/3 oz gold and red Little Cleo tipped with a 3 inch shiner. Have had 20+ walleye days on Nip with that.

Also use 8 lb braid with a micro swivel tipped with 6 feet of 8 lb fluorocarbon tied directly to lure/bait.

I also use a jaw jacker with the auto jigging add-on for my second line. Generally my hand jigging is more productive but the odd time the jacker out fishes me.

This was jigging the aforementioned minnow tipped Little Cleo last winter on Nip on one of those 20+ walleye days.
