I'm in Chicago this week for business and the wearing of masks are completely 'optional'. Required in our office common areas but removed when in meetings and in offices. Restaurants and bars they are none existent - you see the odd one worn by people walking in but removed as soon as they are in and walking around.

South Carolina is the same optional in many places to wear a mask. Just had 2 friends come back . They say they didn't wear a mask in off times and during the day when it was busy they wore a mask.

I think 8 died from the Travis Scott concert with over 50 thousand people packed in.
Not from covid but a stampede.
