Waterproof camo suggestions

Looking to purchase waterproof camo gear as a Christmas present. What's everyone finding to be reliable and what would you avoid? I've checked the existing posts below but now we are right into hunting season and we have had some really wet days, more people may have more experience with their gear.

Sitka stuff if the budget allows. but it can be expensive .. Gortex stuff.

I was in the same boat some time back ... figured I do not need a camo goretex though. for waterfowl I usually wear waders in camo ... so ended up getting one a Gortex black pants from marks, around $150. waterproof and also scratch/ rip proof ... so now I wear that for deer or anything other than waterfowl.

I have had the above parka for several years. I’ve been in some heavy rain, snow, etc., and it’s been flawless. Great in cold weather too.

I have the Cabela's MT050 jacket and bibs, and also the one piece suit, they OK for a light rain but if its a long wet day the rain gets into the seams so I keep a Frogg toggs poncho in my pack for additional coverage.

I have a 2-pc Mad Dog camo rainsuit that I’ve had for 20 years, and have been wanting to replace it for several years, but, as a retiree on a pension, I can’t afford the Sitka level quality, and nothing else seems well rated. So every year I just buy a big can of waterproofing spray and recoat my old set.
Plus, like Marker, I have a camo poncho for the heavy rain days.

Pick a couple of good names with good recommendations, book mark that page and with Black Friday etc. coming just check that link once or twice a week. I have a whole folder I open twice a week of tools, gear etc. that I have book marked in the "Sale Watch" folder. Some good gear that will last years is expensive and if it doesn't show up on a Kijiji (sometimes good place to buy too, but buyer beware) will be worth watching for and getting at 40% or so off. You already have a link to Cabelas/Bass Pro that is good place to search and here are two more. I have an eclectic collection of name and off name stuff so look at some other suggestions for specific names but name brands can be sh** too but many good reviews are often the best help! A good poncho is a must I would agree, much more so than my dust covered camo umbrella you can hook to a tree, IF I was up in a tree stand it MIGHT be good though so think about how and what, when and where you might need it, a good buy is only good if you use it.

P.S.
A couple different colourations is probably a good idea, you may not remember when the Liberals sent the Canadian troops to Afghanistan in jungle camo gear, a bright green jungle camo in the middle of a dessert isn't camouflage that works! Have alternatives, even if it is a cheap throw over close is better than standing out or looking wrong.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have a wide variety of stuff for myself, depending on the weather and backdrop. I've had mine for a few years, so appreciate the suggestions for some recent/current things to check out.

Go to decathalon in vaughan. They have a small selection but great prices and its quality stuff. Got a pair o f camo pants from them and I've never looked back. Pockets are great camo is awesome too. Walked infront of turkeys and some deer and they were clueless as to what I was. Waterproof as well and the great part about them is they actually breathe if your on a fall day.

Well your timing could not be better with Black Friday sales just around the corner.

Sitka - No doubt it is probably some of the best on the market BUT....... it is very expensive. Worth the money? Well that is up to you to decide.
BPS/Cabelas - On the other end of the spectrum their stuff is OK for the price. It will last a couple of years under normal wear and tear and will be waterproof'ish. Definitely something you will be looking to replace after 3-4 seasons of good use.

I went with the middle ground and bought Browning Hells Canyon 3 in 1 jacket and insulated bibs. They are comfortable, warm, easy to move in and waterproof enough for my needs. For spring turkey hunting I have an uninsulated Gortex Jacket and Pants. You have the right idea.......buy one and cry once. Buy according to your needs and not what you want to spend on something. I have never heard anyone hunting in December complaining that they paid too much for their hunting jacket.
