Do most of my upland hunting on public lands you be the judge if they are good. Thing is you will not find them here as if say land X is reported good not only you but everyone else will so up.
Research these days is alot easier. Can goggle public or county forest and quite a few sites will show up. Than its pick one and boots on the ground to see if you swipe left or right.

Crown Land atlas, burning fuel, and taking some walks with a GPS to mark some spots. Also when out fishing I try to spend a little time scouting. Seems when I’m out looking for turkeys I find grouse, when out scouting grouse I find turkeys. But time in woods beats sitting at home wondering.
