We have seen it here lots in Canada where a person defending themselves is viewed as worse than the criminal but to see a child rapist called a hero, the bottom just fell out. I am sure it will be used to create more BLM riots and the media will cheer that too. Our PM during COVID goes out to march with and virtue signal with a group that has done tens of million in damage and has "peaceful" chants that basically give us what we want or we will burn it down. Just a reminder on that ...
Threats to ‘burn it down’ chanted during Washington D.C. Black Lives Matter march

The riots started within hours... those that want to destroy and seize what they can will on any excuse, this will be another one.

Riots, a kid that was legally there trying to protect people and property and the hate is on... he was being chased (by a child rapist, a felon that illegally had a handgun...) and defended himself and they hate him because of it! The threats and lies and intimidation are just starting for this poor kid, they know no bottom anymore. Criminals died and not the one being attacked, the left love their criminals, just look we have a lying ethics violating RCMP investigation blocking attorney general intimidating PM and they love him, socks and all.
Tucker’s own lawyers argued that he is entertainment not to be taken seriously or believed as fact.

You see that is what you fail to grasp. The fact that they 'CAN' carry their guns in public is what makes them Free..

So true, but unfortunately the Americans have been brainwashed into believing more firearms in the hands of citizens equals freedom, it does the opposite. But how could it be any other way, the American gun manufacturers could hardly sell firearms AROUND THE GLOBE and not let their own citizens have free and unfettered access to them, that would be hypocritical. Starting wars, fermenting internal strive in other countries are all about keeping the industrial complex in business, gun running at its best.
So for me guns represent power and its attractive to those who otherwise feel powerless, like this scrawny kid who is suddenly 6fy tall with his AR15. The State and this jury has now sanctioned this use of a firearms, so what stops any like minded kid's from following suit. Do they really want a bunch of mentally and physically immature teenagers running around like this, apparently so.

Gilroy the point I was making was that if you didn't own a gun and you lived anywhere near where the riots occurred you better get one and learn how to use it - based on the orders from superiors the police did nothing - many store owners who tried to stop the mob from burning down their store were beating up badly - it has gotten to a point where you are on your own when the riots begin -
And let me tell you something - eventually there is going to be armed confrontation between the left and the right in this country - once the riots spill out of the inner cities and head into the suburbs the shooting is going to begin - maybe I won't be around anymore but the way things are going there isn't anything that is going to stop it from happening - myself and all my neighbors are well armed and would have no hesitation to defend ourselves -

Rittenhouse is a product of modern American society. Pampered teenager, self-styled vigilante, possible white supremacist, armed with an assault rifle and high-capacity magazines. He was an accident looking for a place to happen and he found it.
The issue isn't that Kyle Rittenhouse is a product of modern American society it is that large swaths of the nation are lauding him as a hero and someone to be emulated.

Well your right but what has that wrought for them? No real freedom, scared of each other, emboldened to shot a black jogger who was simply out for a run down a residential street. Their well regulated Militia will eventually give them a well unregulated CIVIL WAR.

Remember the first thing a dictator does when he gains power - take away the guns from the citizens - guess why

Rittenhouse didn't live anywhere near the riots. He didn't even live in the same state. He drove to Kenosha from Illinois to join in the disturbances.
