Gilroy the point I was making was that if you didn't own a gun and you lived anywhere near where the riots occurred you better get one and learn how to use it - based on the orders from superiors the police did nothing - many store owners who tried to stop the mob from burning down their store were beating up badly - it has gotten to a point where you are on your own when the riots begin -

And let me tell you something - eventually there is going to be armed confrontation between the left and the right in this country - once the riots spill out of the inner cities and head into the suburbs the shooting is going to begin - maybe I won't be around anymore but the way things are going there isn't anything that is going to stop it from happening - myself and all my neighbors are well armed and would have no hesitation to defend ourselves -

If the issue is that the Police are doing nothing to protect you, then clearly you have the WRONG FOLKS ON THE JOB.

The point your missing is that you no longer can stand on a suspects neck any more in American until he chocks, you are not going to be allowed to shoot a black unarmed jogger out for a run on a residential street, with a shotgun, after chasing him down, killing him and claiming self defense.

Now I know you might be nostalgic and want American back to the day's where this was tolerated, covered up and the police were seen to be on one side. But those days are over, technology, camera's, social media, the cat's out of the back.

I agree you will probably end up in a second civil war because certain elements in your land have not accepted losing the first Civil war. In the same way that those certain elements did not accept losing the last election.

So you lost the last election and should expect to be at a 7 million citizen disadvantage at the start of that war if the election results were right. If the Republicans, The Donald or anybody else think's they are simply going to roll over the WILL OF THE PEOPLE your dead wrong.

What right was this kid defending exactly. The right to run around like a big man with an AR15, a scrawny 17 year old punching way beyond his weight class.

Maybe Americans need to trade their firearms for boxing gloves and we will get the balance back.

I have done a bit of boxing so I will be first in the ring with Mr Trump who seems to be a coward and gets others to do his boxing for him.

Remember in Canada the Liberals think free speech and defending their rights and property is bad, it is the criminal they side with.

Boy, you just can't get it right... let's correct.

White male while protecting property and people assaulted by 3 criminals (child rapist, felon armed with a handgun...) ended up defending himself, the media then lied and verbally and legally assaulted by those with an agenda and disdain for facts.

Sad day in Canada, we see those that stand up lied and facts distorted in fear of people that stand up for what is right and defend themselves instead of being beaten and possibly killed by criminals.
