QAnon Influencer Romana Didulo Detained Over Alleged 'Shoot To Kill' Medics Posts
ANDERS ANGLESEY ON 12/2/21 AT 8:50 AM EST

QAnon influencer and self-declared "Queen of Canada" has been detained by Canadian police after allegedly encouraging her followers to "shoot to kill" health care workers.

Romana Didulo, who has more than 70,000 subscribers on encrypted messaging app Telegram, was taken into custody by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Victoria, British Columbia, reported Global News.

A justice of the peace for the Victoria Court Registry said Didulo had been served a search warrant on November 27, according to the news network.

In a November 29 YouTube video, uploaded by an account called LadyDragon, Didulo said she had been served a warrant by officers from the police integrated national-security enforcement team. She was then taken to the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria for a mental health evaluation, she added.

In the YouTube video, seen by Newsweek, Didulo claimed mental health legislation had been "used [and] abused" by the authorities and she was later released from custody.

Didulo also said she had been detained for Telegram posts that encouraged people to kill medics who administered the COVID-19 vaccine to young adults and children.

A Royal Canadian Mounted Police spokesperson told Global News: "Only in the event that an investigation results in the laying of criminal charges would the RCMP confirm its investigation, the nature of any charges laid. Given the aforementioned, we are not in a position to confirm."

Newsweek has contacted the Canadian Anti-Hate Network and the RCMP for comment.

In a November 24 Telegram post seen by Global News, Didulo wrote an "order" to Canada's military to "shoot to kill anyone who tries to inject children under the age of 19 years old with coronavirus19 vaccines/ bioweapons or any other vaccines."

    Newsweek
has seen several Telegram posts by Didulo that purport to be addressed to the Canadian armed forces in her capacity as "Queen of Canada." These messages urge troops to carry out her orders, including the confiscation of COVID-19 vaccines.

Didulo has also shared posts encouraging her U.S. followers, whom she has called "duck hunters," to enter Canada and take over key government buildings and carry out mass arrests of police, school staff, doctors and others.

In a November 22 Telegram post seen by Newsweek, Didulo wrote: "To our duck hunter brothers and sisters in the U.S. Please note, when I give you the signal to enter the Kingdom of Canada—here are the things I would like you all to help us with.

"Please take control of all newspaper, radio and television stations. I will make public statements from shortly thereafter. Control the border, land sea and sky."

Another November 22 post said: "I will be glad to grant you that Canadian citizenship after all ducks have been tucked away permanently."

    Newsweek
has also found numerous posts in which Didulo encourages "duck hunters" to join a private Telegram group chat called "Canadian Duck Hunters," which had 127 members as of Thursday morning.

She added: "If you don't have the tools for duck hunting—don't request to join."

Many of Didulos's posts include the QAnon slogan WWG1WGA, or "Where we go one we go all."

Didulo appears to have a dedicated following in Canada and the U.S., with Telegram accounts sharing photos of Didulo's "Kingdom of Canada" flag hanging outside and inside their homes.

Earlier this year, Vice News reported that Didulo's followers had filed "cease and desist" notices demanding that governments and businesses stop any activities that aimed to drive down the spread of COVID-19.

If the name Romana Didulo is unfamiliar to you she is the "leader" of a fringe Canadian political party that was discussed on this site last June.

"Village idiots" would be a suitable description of her "dedicated followers" who embrace her crackpot views and repost them on the internet.
