That to me is the saddest thing about the pandemic. Not the individual deaths, but rather the death of a country.
We've went from "we're all in this together" to people snitching on neighbors and businesses. People mistreating other people or referring to the in denigrating terms because they see the science differently or don't follow the continually contradictory government spin. Heavy handed governments and government employees enforcing questionable (i.e. NOT backed by science) initiatives. I'm not a fan of police in general, but I do applaud the OPP for standing up against this and refusing to enforce travel restrictions. No politician should have ever proposed that - not in a free country.

If Doug is not giving money away to businesses obtained by fraudulent Covid claims, or building 6 billion useless highway extensions he is trying to have you live under Marshall law. Is that the same Doug that was caught on his way up to his cottage at the start of this pandemic while he was telling all of us not to travel. LOL

London Ontario wants to cancel Christmas over omicron. Half dozen schools are closed .
We have a school in york region 1 Case and 6 grades out of class . Grade 1 to 6 was to stay home this week.
Also heard the other day plenty of health care workers are off due to the spread of the fully vaccinated .

Trudeaus the one giving a billion dollars to each province for premieres to mandate vaccine pass, restrictions.
Trudeau set the example to follow when he took his family to his cottage for Easter at the height of covid, while telling Canadians to stay home don't travel. What a great example to set for the rest of the country.

"Safety" seems to be the governments alibi for tyranny.

Omicron already running out of steam they say in South Africa.
Their death rate has also changed big time. They say it was reported that 1 in 33 or they had a 3 percent death rate from Delta . Now they say omicron has about 0.5 rate and says their death is about 1 in 200
Lots of cases but mild
"Omicron is extremely mild. The rest of the world has nothing to fear."

It should run its course really fast

Omicron seems it could be affecting more the vaccinated. Wonder why that is if it's mixed with a cold virus. ?
"Dr. Kieran Moore, the province’s top doctor, has said that Omicron is infecting between four and eight times more people than the Delta variant. He has also said it appears to infect more vaccinated people and that third doses offer greater protection."
Didn't the FDA or CDC say boosters were important because the vaccinated once it wanes they are more likely to be infected then the unvaccinated . What's up with that ? See if I can dig into that, that was a while ago .

Well guess what fellas.
Trudeau considers a 14-day quarantine requirement for fully-vaccinated Canadians returning to the country.
Aren't you glad you complied?
