So at this point if a layman can piece this together people might want to ask themselves why are our Public Health Officials pushing so hard for this booster?

Good question and largely why 'conspiracy' theories run rampant. They aren't been forthright with us and yet wonder why people become skeptical.

It's like the sudden interest in providing millions of people with the Antigen Tests. What that will do in vastly increase the number of positives in the community, even with asymptomatic people and boost the nightly 'Postive Case' numbers. That will encourage us to comply with the upcoming Lockdowns.

Wonder why the modeling says we will have over 10,000 cases a day...that's why.

That's called social engineering and it works on a gullible society.

Still more common for the unvaccinated.
But the entire age group is seeing less serious problems. It's not just one group it is the entire age population that has seen milder cases.
This is Good news but still a serious disease for many age has always been a factor of the amount of side effects of this disease.

This means children who had a small risk has even less of a risk unvaccinated.

What they are afraid of is the amount of people getting sick and flooding the health system. Even if it is milder more will end up in the hospital because it just speeds so fast and thousands more will become infected.

If it's half as mild 3 times the cases would still put more in the Hospitals.

Some Toronto Hospitals can only run at 85 percent capacity due to short staffing issues . Crappy time have just let go the unvaccinated . Yes small percent numbers but it still lots of people and positions.

Not if, as they say, the mRNA vaccines still are effective at keeping the infection from becoming severe. We have proof they don't work at preventing them from getting infected, but if they also no longer prevent them from being hospitalized...we're in a world of hurt.

With 80% (Ont) vaccinated and X% of the unvaccinated who have recovered with natural immunity, the at risk numbers are very low.

Not if, as they say, the mRNA vaccines still are effective at keeping the infection from becoming severe. We have proof they don't work at preventing them from getting infected, but if they also no longer prevent them from being hospitalized...we're in a world of hurt.

Maybe they are more freshly shot up.

The concerns for waning over time yes its still holding strong for now for keeping the Hospitalization low but what about next month ?

Still unknown then how many are willing be getting their booster not everyone leaving more of the population unvaccinated shortly.

We are very much playing out a live social excitement and who knows what's going to happen next lol. They are getting the live data as it goes along.

I was reading thru papers on Omicron this morning and have to say, I have never seen the use of words like "could, may, not known, maybe" on 'scientific' papers in all my life. They're flying blind and the default reaction from the Politicians is " mandate restrictions".

The hysteria they've created over this variant has really spun out of control...pity the poor soul that ends up in the ICU with the Omicron virus...they'll be front-page news from coast to coast.
