Your knowledge of history in this regard is severely lacking, and you are extremely out of your depth in this discussion. I would be happy to recommend some reading material for you on these topics.

I would also to be happy to discuss ancient Greek philosophy, Christian theology and the entire history of the West in greater detail in a separate thread, though I don't imagine that would be particularly interesting for our members.

If the historical truth of Christianity offends you, I can just as easily make the same analysis from a Jewish or athiest/liberal/feminist position and come to the same conclusions. The endless violence and mistreatment of people under Islam is a fixture of the religion itself, not of American foreign policy. There are many ex-Muslims who speak out on the dangers of their prior culture. These are victims of acid attacks, female genital mutilation, or in the case of Salmon Rushdie, a worldwide fatwa issued for simply writing a book. Or the many cases of cartoonists getting massacred for drawing Muhammed. We are not subject to Islamic blasphemy laws in free Western countries last time I checked. Islam does not seek to integrate but instead to establish a parallel legal system within the host culture. Its goal is Sharia.

What your position essentially boils down to is:

    a) the inability or unwillingness of the liberal to distinguish one person from another, seeing as we're all just the same clumps of meaningless cells randomly bumping into each other in the void. We see the unfortunate consequences of this athiest/materialist thinking reaching its inevitable conclusions with men magically becoming women, changing the definition of marriage, people being healthy even if they're 100 pounds overweight, and so on. It's the liberal 'blank slate' premise that has been thoroughly debunked. Or Rousseau's 'noble savage' fantasy. We have a nature, and some cultures are objectively better than others. On top of that, civilization and grace actually perfect nature. As the Latin saying goes - Gratia non tollit naturam, sed perficit.

    b) the resentful and confused thoughts of an ingrate, who doesn't appreciate how unlikely it is for us to have arrived at this juncture. That our culture, laws, freedoms, educational institutions, art, architecture, and very conception of life itself is the result of 2000 years of Western thought. To compare this, in such a flippant way, to Muslims doing bad things only because we upset them, is to do a grave disservice to your own rich inheritance. It shows an animus towards something that should be viewed with reverence. It fetishizes and idolizes the other, looking to them for a means of deliverance from the shackles of convention, but instead leads to the "soft bigotry of low expectations" and destructive, self-refuting dead-ends.

All these claims favoured by liberals have been thoroughly debunked even by people on the left -- the gender wage gap (a myth), men and women are exactly the same (they're not), ancient Islamic culture was very advanced (it wasn't), Islam is a religion of peace (it isn't), the West is a horribly racist and intolerant place (it's actually the least racist and most tolerant place in human history), we should continually feel guilty for crimes we had no part in (even though we didn't start slavery, we ended it...you're welcome!), and so on.

Don't waste too much time on "G" he likes his substitutions or partial FaCTs (FiCTion), he doesn't want to learn but really does like to talk alot.

His statements usually show a lacking in Historical facts, the historical book I mentioned before, I'll include a link again, covers alot that he would take and see, they did live next to each other... as long as the Christian submitted, paid the jiziya tax or converted or became a servant or slave.... the invasions into Spain and even as far as France, the Ottoman Mehmed II I mentioned before and his invasions and raids into Eastern Europe are but a small example and the treatment of the people of India and Africa was even more brutal. The Islamist is quite happy to use someone to provide weapons and money, to exploit any advantage, the Grand Mufti and Adolf Hitler for example, Obama arming ISIL etc. We can see the bigotry and lies in Canada accepted, just look at Al Quds day for example and there have been multiple Immans caught in Canada giving hate speeches but very little said negatively about it and when a terrorist that has killed, maimed and created bombs to do so is cheered we know the condition of their mind and heart too.

The security forces allied to the USA were left equipment by the USA to defend their country after being trained by the USA.

The Afghan forces decided not to fight he Taliban so now they have the equipment.

Would you rather the USA left nothing and then get blamed for the country being seized by the Taliban?

I think not, if you are not open to all of history and reality you are lost. I hope you did not tax yourself writing more than a five word sentence. LOL

Your excuses for Biden are laughable. Even Biden himself has stated how much of a mistake it is to leave behind equipment. Watch and weep..lol

It was your hero Trump that decided to cut and run, if you took all the weapons of the Afghan army they would have been dead in the water.

This is no different from the American withdrawal from Vietnam, in both cases the American public had enough and in both cases a hasty withdrawal.
