Belong to an upland site that's heavily monitored. There is great participation because the members don't fear being ridiculed by someone with an opposing point of view. Hope to get there one day with more input from members and a little help on the monitoring side would also be appreciated.
    Like Gundog forum.. http://gundogforum.com/

(I'm a mod there and never advertise the site , but come on give me one chance. )

Wow, you are an angry man. Time to get some help maybe.
Actually a moderator doesn't have to know anything about the forum subject. They just have to know how to deal with difficult people and make sure the administrator's rules are followed. You'd make a lot of work for a moderator.
(Actually you know very little about my life. Trained my own derby dog of the year. Hunted pheasant and shot them Also participated well in NSTRA.++ )

    Have a Merry Christmas.

BINGO!! Right on target as usual. Unbiased, even tempered moderators are exactly what we need. We'd be lucky to have you.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Appreciate the support friends. The "gentleman's" post seems to be gone. Hmmm

Have to agree with you there brother, I think it gets very tricky if a moderator is to heavily invested themselves in a certain segment, Sharon has been around and is very well respected.

Ergo why this thread was started in the first place....to protect a member from having a conflict with being both a Mod and an active member.

Thanks for your supporting that concept perfectly...

Even though you voted against it...

Try reading my post again, its addressed to people like you.

If this faction could continue to highjack this forum by voting in moderators of their own ilk we would have a dictatorship on here and dissenting voices would be drowned out and even more members who have been bullied and have left already this would continue.
