You just know they were responding to a complaint by one the sanctimonious who saw a guy working without a mask on and feared they would spread the virus to the fully vaccinated who were wearing their masks while driving by.

Meanwhile, the mask causes a physical hazard itself in this weather fogging your glasses. And nobody seems concerned that positive covid cases even in multiple members of a crew are hidden as quickly as possible from the guys sent to replace them so they don't get scared out of working. I'm sure the masks will keep them from getting it.

Thank God for the ministry of labour keeping all us construction idiots safe out there.

They shut 3 jobsites down today because of people not wearing masks.....Outside...no walls or roof on building.

Handing $800 fines out to anyone that talked back or disputed the ministry on it.

MERRY Xmas to all the power hungry ministry agents out there doing their job and keeping us all safe from each other.

Lol. My union rep told me they are anticipating a vaccination mandate for our industry in the new year sometime. Should be interesting.

That was exactly what was brought up to the ministry. Wearing a mask fogs up your safety glasses and makes it a safety issue.

A foreman of a crew got an $800 fine for saying exactly that, While trying to help his guys from getting the fine(maybe didn't say it in a nicest way, I'm not sure)


Most guys are wearing a neck warmer that covered most of their face as it was -10 and windy today.

To be honest I don't think it will affect very many guys in my company, the majority are vaccinated already.

On second thought, it might be interesting to see how many guys won't show proof regardless of status just for the sake of being ornery or to get time off for ice fishing.

Just one more thing to strap on and make outdoor work more uncomfortable.

But it pays better to just shut up and put it on. Even if it makes you work far less efficiently.

No wonder we are full of misinformation and they continue to push this experimental vaccine like it has been properly tested and approved.

You would think they would of been able to make the influenza vaccine better than this covid vaccine. But nope Moderna fell short on the new mrna flu shots. It is like a wonder drug great for covid haven't been able to make a vaccine a Corona virus in decades but they fall short on the vaccine that has been around a long time and should be better understanding than covid. It would be more understood than a vaccine that was given the green light in the short time it had.
