Default Booked my 2022 Pelee Island Pheasant hunt #2 and need accomodations

    Hey Guys,

Need some advice. I booked my 2022 Pelee Island Pheasant Hunt from Oct 27 to Oct 29th. Can anyone give me an idea where I should stay. I called the one guy at Zane's cottage and he told me to call in March. The guy has three cottages and I am sure they will all be gone by then. Anyone have any leads on where to stay. Not interested in campgrounds of anything like that. It's just me and a buddy and our two dogs. I don't understand this. If there is thousands of hunters and almost no accommodations then where do these people stay.

    Thanks,

    BigK

The hunt info package contains some “leads” for accommodation. If you come up short with those, try asking for more leads when talking to people on the island.

We ended up finding at place at Zane's Bayview Cottages. Seems really cheap and that is usually not a good thing but will see We booked for Wednesday evening to Saturday. We hoped to take a evening ferry back home. Does that sound reasonable?

Hey that's great BigK75, glad you found a cottage too. I was also going to suggest searching on AirBNB, as there is always a few Pelee cottage posts for the hunt on that site as well. Run a search on this forum on the pelee hunt and you will get a lot of info on the hunt itself. I was there for the second main hunt this past fall with my young Brittany and my older GSP and we had a blast, as always. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, would be happy to help.

Hey Lorenzo. I also have a young Brittany. I took him to Exeter Game Farm today. Had a superb time. He is coming up to two years old in a few months. He is starting to really come along. I am going to read through the posts and if I have questions I will reach out to you.
