Dakota vs Chinese Amazon Batteries
I'm looking at getting a lithium battery to power my 40lb trolling motor on my kayak. Dakota in the US has the one I want in stock (54amp/hr) with free shipping. Price with exchange is around $625. Amazon has a 50 amp/hr one for $299 with free shipping as well. What, in your opinion, is the better buy? TC

I certainly don’t doubt that claim but every battery I buy from Dakota Lithium arrives with a “Made in China” sticker on the bottom.

I have no doubt the dakota will be a better battery. It will be grade A cells as opposed to grade B. Its a quality and warranty issue.
That being said, getting a battery with 80% of the power but for 1/2 the price is still attractive. Just don't expect warranty and to get the full rated capacity out of it.

I was going to try the Dakota lithium for my fish finder this year but I could only order online and said it could take 6 weeks to even ship because of delays. So I went with the Marcum lithium 12 v from cabelela.
They have a good warranty from Dakota better than the one I got lol.
Check out the life time between the 2 even know it's more expensive it could already have a better life expectancy and twice the warranty time.
